Portfolio Architecture Reset: Making The Site Easier To Extend

The Old Structure Was Friction

I hit a point where adding anything to the portfolio was annoying. It was structured like a showcase brochure, but my workflow is more like a running log. That mismatch showed up every time I tried to add a post. Too many files to touch, no clear pattern for new content, and it made me avoid publishing things because the overhead felt disproportionate to the content.

Write First, Don't Redesign

The reset gave me a repeatable post structure and cleaner navigation. I can add a new entry now without touching five unrelated files. That sounds like a small thing, but it changes everything when you want to publish consistently instead of in rare bursts. Architecture quality is felt in edit speed, not folder beauty. Boring and fast beats elegant and slow every time.
